1. OBJECT

These General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter, the “CGV”) govern the contractual relations between any natural or legal person (hereinafter, the “Customer”) wishing to make a purchase on the website 

www.chirubikes.nz ( hereinafter, the “Site”) and the company ChiruBikes (hereinafter, “we” or the “Company”).

2. ACCEPTANCE

By confirming an order on the Site, the Customer declares to accept without reservation all of these General Terms and Conditions.

3. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

The products offered for sale are those appearing on the Site on the day of consultation of the Site by the Customer, within the limits of available stocks. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description allowing the Customer to know the essential characteristics before placing the final order. The photographs and graphics presented on the Site are only indicative and do not enter into the contractual field.

4. PRICE

The prices of our products are indicated in New Zealand Dollars, all taxes included, excluding processing and shipping costs.

5. ORDER

Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale. Any dispute on this point will take place within the framework of a possible exchange and the guarantees mentioned below.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is made by bank transfer. The Customer guarantees that he is fully authorized to use the payment method for the payment of his order and that these means of payment provide access to sufficient funds to cover all costs resulting from the use of the services of the society.

7. DELIVERY

The products are delivered to the delivery address indicated when ordering. Delivery times are indicative and upon receipt of payment for the order. They vary depending on the location of delivery.

8. WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

All Sales are final. The Customers rights of return are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

9. GUARANTEES

We offer a lifetime warranty on all CHIRU titanium bike frames. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and problems related to the materials used in the said frame. If a frame has such a defect, we undertake to repair or replace it free of charge, in accordance with our warranty policy. The lifetime warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. The frame must be returned to us naked without any accessories. The warranty does not cover the disassembly and re-assembly of the bicycle as well as the costs of transporting the frame back and forth. To claim this warranty, please contact our customer service and provide the relevant information, such as proof of purchase (Invoice), photo of the complete bike, and photo of the defect noted. Please note that this warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, fitting of components not conforming to frame specifications or any other cause beyond our control . We reserve the right to determine whether a defect is covered by the lifetime warranty. This lifetime guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. LIABILITY

ChiruBikes cannot be held liable in the event of non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the product is delivered. 

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All elements of the Site are and remain the intellectual and exclusive property of the Company.

12. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We are committed to protecting the personal data of our Customers. All personal data collected when connecting to our Site is treated with the strictest confidentiality.

13. MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

The Company reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time.
